aaahh an entry filled and about nothing but anime, lovely is it not?? well i have basically spent the past few days downloading and finishing the watching of hikaru no go, a really niffty anime that pulled a friend of mine into the world of go who in turn pulled me in( though i had some poking and proding earlier in life from liisa and an her interest in it from the movie pi) and i have in turn pulled many more into it. i found the last half of the anime to be very satifying. you really ge the sense that the main characters grow and continue to grow through out the length of the anime. it really was quite amazing. though i was a bit weirded out by the what happens to sai. though quite satisfied with what happens afterwards to hikaru and his life. unlike most anime where the main character overcomes every single challenge while never being defeated, our hero gets his ass handed to him many times. but this does further push his self harder. though i did find the anime to be a bit sentimental in the last 12 or so eps. not to say dentimental is bad, infact its exactly what i would have expected. i`m just a bit errr ... weird about the response. but it is a very good anime. it could continue for many many many more episodes, however i wouldnt see the point in that really. the main characters have all over come the challenges in their paths and have risen to and are walking the path in life that they want to. watching the continued adventures would be a bit moot. there really is no more drama that can be gone over with out feeling like your beating a dead horse. all in all it was an excellent anime, full of joy and elation and disappointment and completion. it was joyful.
