I have been slowly making my way through Uchuu Kyoudai(Space Brothers) on crunchyroll. As a grown up who spent his whole childhood dreaming of going to space this series hits me hard. It is quite a good anime on it's own. The voice acting seems pretty good, the artwork is quite nice (besides the so-ugly-its-kinda-cute dog Apo), and the story line is nice and straight forward. There are no surprises really.
The story touches on the themes of brotherhood, the responsibilities of an older sibling and making your dreams come true. The series acknowledges the amazing luck that our protagonist seems to possess without taking too much away his own capability.
Overall the series does it's up most to instill that childlike wonder for space and for those of us whose first, un-hesitant, answer was "Astronaut!" this show will touch you in places you never knew existed.
